Redmond Gary Australia has appointed Hogg & Davis as distributor for our cable pushers in the USA and Canada.  With our two companies having enjoyed a long relationship spanning more than 25 years, when it came to introducing our cable pusher to the USA market, Hogg & Davis were our first choice for local representation.

This appointment has been in the works for some time but was solidified last year when Redmond Gary Australia’s managing director, Andrew Danks, and our engineering manager, Iain Mitchelhill, travelled to the USA to attend the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) in Louisville, Kentucky.

After the exhibition Andrew and Iain visited Hogg & Davis’ manufacturing facility in Odell, Oregon.  During the visit they discussed a wide range of topics including the supply of two cable pushers, one side mount and one bottom mount, with hydraulic power packs to Hogg & Davis for promotional purposes and sale.  Going forward, Hogg & Davis will manufacture the hydraulic power packs in the USA in accordance with specifications from Redmond Gary Australia.  Redmond Gary Australia, in turn, will provide the cable pushers and all necessary technical and marketing assistance.

Prior to shipment of the two cable pushers, Hogg & Davis’ technical manager, Scott Mason, visited Redmond Gary Australia to inspect the machines, receive technical and operation tuition and have discussions with some of RGA’s other Cable Pusher customers around the country who were able to offer feedback and advice on how to use this equipment and highlight points of difference with our equipment.
