The PoleX was demonstrated at the New & Innovative Products Forum 2009 held on 25th November at Exhibition Park in Canberra. This is a new event held for the first time this year primarily to demonstrate the advanced new products and services available to the electricity industry. The event was sponsored by Country Energy.

In addition, Country Energy organized for key personnel from their organization to attend this forum to bring them up to date with new technologies and equipment gaining valuable knowledge for personnel responsible for making recommendations and purchasing decisions.

The forum exhibited a range of new products and services. Manufacturers and suppliers were invited to provide information on their products as well as carry out demonstrations of working equipment. The forum was well attended by not only Country Energy representatives but also ACTEW/AGL, Integral, Energy Australia and other major authorities and contractors.

This was an excellent opportunity to exhibit the new PoleX. The machine was operated on several occasions to give people a clear understanding of the concept of the new machine, the safety features and the ease of operation. The PoleX was well accepted by many delegates and as a result of this forum, we are following up several enquiries.
