Redmond Gary has just delivered a batch of seven 6-tonne self loading cable drum trailers to Energex. These trailers will replace units delivered to Energex over the past 25 years. The new trailers are basically an upgraded design version of the original units which are still in daily service proving the exceptional design life of this equipment.

The enhanced design of the latest models incorporates many features not available on the original machines. The loading mechanism of the new trailers is practically identical to the original ones. These trailers were designed by SEQEB, which later became Energex. Redmond Gary Australia purchased the design rights from SEQEB and has been building them ever since. Currently there are in excess of 500 units in service throughout Australia and the Australasian rim. These units have proven to be exceptional value for money taking into consideration the long service life and ergonomic design. There are many additional features that have been designed since the first trailers were put into service.
