Yurika is the contractor of Energy Queensland and they have recently taken delivery of their first order for cable handling equipment. They have taken delivery of a 20kN Trailer Mounted Recovery Winch, Skid with 3 x 3T Drum Stands mounted and a 14T Drum Stand which is now being used at the Hail Creek Coal Mine in Central Queensland.

This equipment will greatly enhance Yurika’s capacity to undertake large overhead conductor contracts as well as installation of underground cables. The 20kN Trailer Mounted Recovery Winch can be used in the installation of large underground cables which will be taken off the 14T Drum Stand. In addition, the same 20kN Trailer Mounted Recovery Winch can be used for the installation of overhead conductors. This work could be for distribution and transmission applications.
