Description

This Winch has been designed for hauling overhead cables directly onto a split drum using the old cable to pull in the new conductor. The winch is provided with a fairlead to layer the cable onto the split drum, fairlead is controlled via a hydraulic cylinder. The winch speed and fairlead speed can be pre-set.

The winch is self-contained with built in diesel hydraulic power pack and operator guard. The skid mount winch is provided with forklift tyne pockets.
There are also a number of ties down points provided, making it suitable to be carried by a small vehicle or box trailer.

The split drum can be removed and be replaced with the drum up to 1600mm diameter by 950mm wide, weighing up to 1500kgs

The drum stand winch is provided with a manual clutch making it possible to free wheel the drum. The unit is also provided with a stainless steel disc type drag brake, making it suitable for pulling cable directly off the drum.

Parts Books & Operating Instructions

The equipment is supplied with one copy of an operation manual which includes operating instructions, safety information, major assembly drawings, hydraulic and electrical schematics (if applicable), etc. Additional copies are available upon request at nominal cost.

Design and improvement of products is a continuous process. We, therefore, reserve the right to make design improvements differing from this specification after receipt of an order. However, any major changes will only be made with the approval of the customer or its’ representatives.

12 months parts and labour in accordance with guarantee and sales conditions.
