Description

The winch tensioner is designed for installation and maintenance of overhead lines.

This unit is provided with container locks for mounting onto flat bed trucks.

There are three winch tensioners provided. Each capable of taking a drum size of 1600mm diameter x 1100mm wide, weighing up to 2000kg.

These winch tensioners can be operated individually or simultaneously. There is a fairlead guide system provided.

The winch tensioner is fully self-contained with diesel power pack, manual and visual controls, together with data logger.

Access points are provided on both sides of the winch tensioner with interlock folding access steps and safety rail system.

The winch tensioner can be operated in manual mode, tensioner mode, or freewheeling made with the aid of a drag brake.

The operator is provided with a safety enclosure and operator present deadman switch is supplied.

Parts Books & Operating Instructions

The equipment is supplied with one copy of an operation manual which includes; operating instructions, safety information, major assembly drawings, hydraulic and electrical schematics (if applicable) etc

Additional copies are available on request at a nominal cost.

Change in Specification

Specification provided is approximate, it can be confirmed on the quote if requested.

Design and improvement of products is a continuous process. We, therefore, reserve the right to make design improvements differing from this specification after receipt of an order. However, any major changes will only be made with the approval of the customer or its’ representatives.

Warranty

12 months parts and labour in accordance with guarantee and sales conditions.
