Product Overview
Description
This unit has been specifically designed to pull cable out of conduits or the ground to be scrapped. The trailer mounted machine consists of a 20kN Cable Pusher, Automatic Cable Cutter and cable chutes to direct cable off-cuts into a tip truck or similar vehicle.
The Cable Pusher Cutter Trailer must be attached to the towing vehicle when in operation. The two rear jacklegs must be deployed and the trailer levelled. The unit is controlled by a pendant attached to the kerb side of the trailer. The Cable Pusher Cutter Trailer will pull the cable from the manhole through the pusher and cut the cable into lengths or approximately 1 meter. The cable off-cuts will travel along the chute and into the towing vehicle (tip truck or similar).
The Cable Pusher Cutter Trailer is fully self-contained with its own diesel power unit and all equipment needed to do the cable scrapping job.
