A 50th anniversary party was held at Redmond Gary’s Molendinar workshop on Friday 21st June. A number of customers, suppliers and staff were in attendance as well as Stuart Robert, Federal Member for Fadden. Andrew Danks, Managing Director and other senior staff conducted factory tours to give people a better understanding of the way things are manufactured and the systems used at Redmond Gary Australia. This gave us a great opportunity to showcase the manufacturing facility and the lean manufacturing systems in place that our staff have worked so hard to implement. Despite the rain and cold weather on the day, many people had the opportunity to experience a ride in an elevating work platform. A wide range of equipment was on display including a number of elevating work platforms and cable handling equipment, both new and rebuilt. Gary Danks, Director, made a speech describing the progress of the company from the original tin mining company based out of Ingham to a major supplier of cable handling and access equipment today. We were also able to demonstrate the wide range of activities carried out at Redmond Gary Australia from concept design to completed products.
