Redmond Gary Australia has manufactured four x 3-tonne self loading cable drum trailers for newly formed company SA Power Networks. SA Power Networks is the new name for ETSA responsible for supplying distribution services throughout South Australia. The trailers have been modified in accordance with the requirements of SA Power Networks who use trailers in outback South Australian areas, in many cases on gravel and corrugated roads. Additional guarding was provided to protect essential elements of the trailer and to meet environmental requirements. This type of trailer has been used for many years by ETSA and they have proven to be reliable, robust pieces of equipment. Joe Maio came from Adelaide to inspect the trailers on behalf of SA Power Networks and was very pleased with the new units and they were shipped the very next day.
