3 x 40kN skid Mount Winches were supplied EC & M LTD. The machines have been shipped to Western Australia where they will be used on the Wheastone Project at Onslow and 2 will be located at the Roy Hill Mine located in the Pilbara. The winches were specially designed to incorporate bunded base and other special features to meet strict mines guidelines.

In addition to the bunded base, they are provided with forklift tyne apertures and lifting points for ease of operation and manoeuvring either by crane or forklift. The winches also feature the latest programmable controller which is intuitive to use based on a Windows type format and of course, they are provided with data loggers so that each winch pull can be recorded and downloaded to a laptop or a USB at a later time. The winches were provided with fibre rope and automatic layer winding system via an Archimedes screw. With the addition of these three units EC & M previously ordered a machine last year which has been in successful operation.
