Redmond Gary Australia has introduced a 2.5 tonne Self Loading Cable Trailer (SLCT) into our range of cable handling equipment. This new design has evolved by aiming to meet our customers’ specific operational requirements, including the ability to load from uneven ground and enable one operator to safely and efficiently load drums of up to 2500kg and at the same time the total mass of the laden trailer will not exceed 3500kg, making it possible to be towed behind a 4WD or a small truck.

This trailer will be supplied with an air-cooled Honda petrol engine and have a drum capacity of approximately 2600mm diameter x 1450mm wide. It has an 82mmØ spindle complete with stainless steel brake disc and manually adjusted calliper brake.

The frame of this unit is fully galvanised, has full Australian Design Rules compliance, rear manual drop legs and hydraulic unload/load facility. The trailer will be supplied with a drum rotator capable of 200kg line pull measured at a diameter of 1000mm.
