Essential Energy takes delivery of the first two TL17M MEWPs mounted on the all-new model Hino 500 Series FM2632 Auto.

RGA’s engineering department designed a new subframe to fit the specifications of the Hino cab chassis and comply with the vehicle standards and AS1418.10-2011 (+A1): 2017. As Redmond Gary Australia has not manufactured this newly designed subframe for the Hino Cab chassis before, the design was subject to a complete structural analysis.

The new design was certified by Peter Wenn and Associates and Queensland Work Place Health Safety issued an amended design registration.

The two MEWPs were subject to type testing of the subframe and the result was a considerable improvement in comparison with the previous design. This type of design will be incorporated in any future new subframe designs.
