Redmond Gary’s Model TF17M Displayed at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE Trades Open Day (August, 2011)

Gold Coast TAFE had a Trades Open Day to promote the TAFE College and give a snapshot of local industry. The show was well represented by manufacturing, Gold Coast City Council and a large contingency of trade related industries including construction, hospitality, information technology, manufacturing and service industries. The exhibition was meant to showcase training and work opportunities on the Gold Coast. As Redmond Gary Australia is one of the larger manufacturers in the region, we were invited to display one of our Model TF17M Elevating Work Platforms.

Ergon Energy was kind enough to allow us to exhibit one of their new vehicles prior to delivery.

The EWP on display is the latest model TF17M featuring EN280 compliance and is supplied with colour touch-screen for diagnostic purposes. This new machine is equipped with new series locker system and has a roll-out awning on one side of the truck. The truck has all of the normal features and is expected to go into service in the next few weeks. It is one of the current batch of nine vehicles being manufactured.
