Redmond Gary Australia has exhibited at the 2009 ESITO Line Mechanic and Cable Joiners Competition which was held at Mystery Creek Events Centre outside Hamilton New Zealand.

This is an annual event which showcases the best of the best that New Zealand has to offer in the areas of overhead line construction and cable joining, both overhead and underground. This gave Redmond Gary Australia an excellent venue to display cable handling and access equipment being introduced into the New Zealand market.

Although some work practices in New Zealand differ to the methodology used in Australia, there was keen interest in Redmond Gary Australia’s products and several discussions were held with end users regarding work practices and procedures that might improve their safety and productivity.

The program ran for three days and competition was fierce in all areas. Industry based personnel were used to judge the events and judging was based on safety, quality and performance.
