Pictured is Col Brown, Heavy Fleet Coordinator for Country Energy, based in Grafton, New South Wales with two of approximately eight units to be delivered to Country Energy over the next few months. These tension stringing winches will be used in regional areas of Country Energy throughout New South Wales to reconductor massive areas of New South Wales as part of the national stimulus package.

It is anticipated that over the next five years, it will be necessary to replace up to 200,000km of aerial conductors. This state-of-the-art equipment has been supplied for some years now and is standard methodology for many Australian and overseas electricity authorities.
