SA Power Networks approached Redmond Gary Australia to design and manufacture a 3 Drum ABC Trailer that could carry a standard pallet-size storage box. This type of box is used to hold sets of overhead rollers and can be easily removed via a forklift.

The storage box is provided with a modified base, incorporating forklift apertures and fits into a special mount on top of the trailer to stop the storage box from being able to move when in transit. The box is anchored to the trailer with the aid of two ratchet straps.

This trailer is also supplied with an overhead roller type 5, 3x 400kg hydraulic spindle brakes and a 1.5T lifting beam which are just a few of the options the 3 Drum ABC Trailer can provide.

When the storage box is removed the trailer returns to a standard 3 Drum ABC Trailer.
